Costings
In order to establish a construction cost estimate or lump sum quote for any AIM design and construct built solution a client must work through the step by step procedure outlined in “Step By Step” link. Estimates and quotes provided by AIM will typically include items such as:
- Design, documentation, submission to Council and approval bodies and provision of BASIX (energy rating) certificate by an AIM architect.
- Consultants’ fees such as structural engineering and hydraulics.
- Fabrication and fitout of AIM building.
- Transportation to site and erection of AIM building.
- Provision of Home Warranty Insurance for AIM where applicable.
- On-site internal finishes and final cleaning of AIM product.
Typically, the estimates or quotes provided by AIM will not include items such as the following unless specifically requested:
- Council or other authority approval fees.
- Site survey, surveyor’s setout, or final survey.
- Utility connections, or site stormwater drainage.
- Demolition of existing structures, site clearing or removal of trees.
- Termite control (if required).
- Concrete piling and footings (AIM will provide engineering for footings and provide connection plates)
- Concrete crossover, driveways or pathways.
- Site fencing, landscaping, planting or irrigation.
